May & June= Crazy

So as some of you picked up on my last weekly post, I let my work know that I will not be returning once Emersyn is here. And as you may have picked up on several of my last weekly posts, May and June will be crazy busy for our family. Hubby has accepted a job as a pharmacist with Target, in our home state of Missouri, so we will be having a baby, him studying for licensing exams, me quitting my job, him graduating, selling a house, moving, buying a house, him starting a new job, and him taking his licensing exams, all in the span of two months. Whew. I'm tired just thinking of it all.

We can't sell our house until the end of June, because we got the first time homebuyer credit when we bought our house and you have to own it for 3 years, but hubby will start with Target at the beginning of June. So, he plans on staying with his brother and sister-in-law (so very thankful for them), who already live in the town we're moving to, until we can sell our house. I will probably be back and forth between their house and ours until it sells, so please pray that it sells quickly, since I hate the idea of being apart from the hubby when Emersyn is so small.

We know this will be a time of great stress and adjustment, but we are so thankful that God has provided a job for hubby, in the town we want to move to, that will allow me to be a stay at home mama. I also plan to continue my photography business on a part time basis, but probably will not be making huge efforts in that area until we are good and settled. It will be hard to leave my established clientele, and I'm nervous about trying to balance the work that comes with building up a business with the needs of a newborn, but as He has with everything else, I know God will provide.

  1. Wow! That is a LOT of things going on at once, but definitely all GOOD things :)! I have been reading your blog for about a month now, and I LOVE it! My husband and I are trying to have a baby and I've enjoyed going back and reading through your experience. Can't wait to see sweet Emersyn when she arrives! and yes, you're absolutely right. God WILL provide! :)

  2. Oh Lordy, that will be quite the hectic time for you guys. But it seems to me that He has things all planned out for you in His timing already. Baby Emersyn, the new job, you getting the chance to stay home, etc. It is SO HARD to see through all the chaos to get to the other side of His plans, but He has proven faithful already. Just hang on a few more months! Praying for a smooth transition for you all.
