How big is the baby this week: Baby is the size of a head of lettuce.
Due Date: May 8, 2014
Weight Gain: Nothing this week- up a total of 7 from starting.
Symptoms: Starting to get more uncomfortable. Hate putting on socks, and giving E a bath can be kind of painful. Heartburn, and having to use the bathroom more often.
Cravings: Milk, chocolate milk, eggs. Baby boy likes protein.
Aversions: Nothing major.
Sleep: Not complaining. Wake up to use the bathroom, and sometimes its pretty hard to get back to sleep. I just stopped taking my B6 and Unisom at night last week, so I'm not as groggy as I was, but I'm still fairly tired during the day. Part of that may be due to E's not great sleep habits (sometimes wakes up a lot at night, rarely naps longer than 30 minutes during the day) Really hoping we get that under control before baby boy makes his appearance and all our sleep goes to crap anyway.
I am loving: Finally getting started on the nursery/ E's big girl room! Tested paint today, moved some furniture out, organized several closets, and we'll paint next week and get the new carpet (!!!) the following week.
I miss: Being able to have a glass (or two) of red wine at night. I did have half a glass of white wine a couple weeks ago, and that half a glass really satisfied my craving, so maybe I should pick up a bottle of red. Totally understand some people are 100% any alcohol whatsoever during pregnancy, but umm, yeah, that's not me. I also miss being able to comfortably get down and play with E, or give her baths, etc. Feeling more limited.
I am looking forward to: I turn 29 tomorrow! I'm excited to go shopping for some baby boy clothes, and look for E's big girl bedspread. Also, a night out with the hubby is always something to look forward to!
I'm spazzing about: Finishing things up in the nursery and big girl room, and I'm painfully aware that there is not a lot of sleep in the forecast for my future. Bleh, I really like sleep.
Best thing about this week: We finally traded in our dying Tahoe for a minivan! We thought we were about two years out from this major purchase, but then we realized exactly what we were sinking into repairs for our lemon of a vehicle, on top of constantly having it in the shop, and still constantly wondering if we'd get stranded. So, I'm incredibly thankful we moved that timeline up and we don't have to stress about the Tahoe anymore!
Milestones: Again, getting started on the nursery feels like a big milestone haha.
Movement: Lots- its starting to get uncomfortable, but I'm thankful he's healthy and active!

24 Weeks: Baby Crockett 2 (With Bump Pics!)
How big is the baby this week: Baby is the size of a grapefruit.
Weight Gain: Finally weighed myself this morning- up a total of 7 lbs.
Symptoms: Heartburn, growing belly, lots of kicks and rolls.
Cravings: Milk, bread, eggs, steak.
Aversions: Nothing major.
Sleep: E has been sleeping better lately, which means mama has too!
I am loving: Watching my belly move, working on ideas for the nursery.
I miss: raw sushi (tuna in particular), alcoholic beverages.
I am looking forward to: Ordering some fabric for his nursery.
I'm spazzing about: How much work we need to do to get his nursery done and E's big girl room done.
Best thing about this week: E went up for a weekend with Blake's parents, giving us some much needed down time.
Milestones: Isn't 24 weeks viability?
Movement: Definitely the best part of pregnancy!!!
It's a...: Boy!
And, as promised, bump pics!

22 Weeks: Baby Crockett 2.0
How big is the baby this week: Baby is the size of a papaya.
Due Date: May 8, 2014
Weight Gain: Nothing this week. I know it's all going appear in my third trimester, and I have no idea why since I think I eat about the same throughout my pregnancy (except for the pesky first trimester when I eat only what I won't throw up, which isn't much)
Symptoms: Heartburn, bigger belly, general soreness
Cravings: Milk, chocolate, sushi, queso
Aversions: Nothing major.
Sleep: Well, if my firstborn wasn't waking up multiple times a night, I'm pretty sure it would be decent. Unfortunately, there are lots of interruptions and I'm tired... a lot.
I am loving: Baby boy is getting stronger, and I no longer just feel kicks, but rolls. Such a fun part of pregnancy.
I miss: raw sushi (tuna in particular), alcoholic beverages, and sleep
I am looking forward to: Working on the nursery.
I'm spazzing about: Getting things done before he arrives since we haven't even started. And naming him.
Best thing about this week: Being a bridesmaid in my lovely friend Rebecca's wedding
Milestones: We had our second ultrasound at the dr, and baby boy looks perfectly healthy
Movement: Lots of movement these days
