20 Weeks!

How big is baby this week? Baby is the size of a cantaloupe.

Due Date: May 8, 2012

Weight Gain: Up 2lbs this week. I should not have spoken so soon about being worried about not gaining enough weight.

Symptoms: Still get nausea, but so infrequently it's hardly worth mentioning. Belly is growing and kicks are getting stronger.

Cravings: Milk, pickles, sushi, guacamole, steak

Aversions: No major aversions, but occasionally sweets make me feel not so hot. Apparently the cinnamon roll I'm enjoying right now is not subject to this.

Sleep: Sleeping pretty well, but I'm really bad about shifting to my back while sleeping, then when I wake up and roll to my side I get some stomach pains. Again, when I wake up I'm usually awake for awhile, this morning I put my Christmas gift from hubby to work (a Kindle Fire).

I am loving: Feeling baby move! My new Gap maternity jammies!

I miss: raw sushi and a good Bloody Mary.

I am looking forward to: Christmas time off with family!!

I'm spazzing about: Feeling like there's really not that much time until she comes, and we still have a lot to do.

Best thing about this week: Naming baby girl! Story to come!

Milestones: Hubby has gotten to feel her move a lot more, and at 20 weeks I'm halfway to getting to meet my baby girl!

Movement: I know eventually her kicks will probably hurt, but right now I LOVE them!

It's a...: GIRL!!!!

  3. Woohoo! You are halfway there and your sweet girl will be here before you know it. I can't wait to read all about how you picked her name. I'm sure it's absolutely adorable!

  4. I had a minor inner freak out moment when I realized my girl could technically be born in April which means I could technically be a little more than four months out from labor... yikes!
